Freya Wynn-Jones
Co-Artistic Director
Freya Wynn-Jones is a director, singer and maker working across a wide range of professional, educational and community settings. With a particular interest in the relationship between theatre and vocal art, Freya works on numerous collaborations to write, compose and devise new work. Freya studied at the University of Exeter before becoming Associate Artist at Glyndebourne Opera. She was Spitalfields Open Call Artist in 2018 and also co-runs choral theatre ensemble Voicings Collective. She works for companies including The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Aurora Orchestra, Glyndebourne and The Wigmore Hall. She performs regularly with Filament Theatre.

Emma Higham
Co-Artistic Director
Emma is a theatre-maker who combines the strands of participatory and professional theatre-making to create new work and trained on the National Theatre Director’s Course and at Leeds University. Over the past fifteen years she has created shows with companies and theatre-makers such as The Unicorn Theatre, The Gate, The Roundhouse, The Old Vic Theatre, Synergy Theatre Project, David Rosenberg, Slunglow and Glas(s) whilst creating her own work.
She co-runs RAPT - a Sussex based theatre company who collaborate with artists, researchers and community groups in order to examine difficult questions.

Kelly Vassie
Associate Artist
Kelly is a Brighton based designer researcher with work spanning spatial design, philosophy and illustration. She is interested in the psychology of space, cognitive science of visual perception, and the interplay between art and science, text and image, experiment and knowledge.
Having trained at Central School of Speech and Drama, specialising in designing immersive productions and for participatory projects, she has worked on touring productions at the Minack Theatre, Cornwall; designed sets, costumes and puppets for productions at the Arcola, Finborough, Jerwood Space, Stratford Circus and Polka Theatre.

Hannah Barrie
Associate Artist
Hannah Barrie is an actor, puppeteer and puppet maker. She trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has worked extensively in theatre and television. Credits include three years at the RSC on their Olivier Award winning The Histories, Shakespeare's Globe, Northern Broadsides, Opera North and for the BBC and ITV. She is an associate artist of Out of Chaos, working as head of puppetry on Crossing the Sea, and performing in Unmythable (winning Best Newcomer Award at the Brighton Fringe in 2019) and their two-person A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She trained in puppetry and story telling with Sarah Wright, Lyndie Wright, Mervyn Millar, Mike Shepherd and Steve Tiplady at The Curious School of Puppetry.
